Scouting in the First World War

This on-line exhibition draws on The Scout Association Heritage Collection which contains a fascinating collection of photographs and records relating to the contribution Scouts made to the war effort from 1914 – 1918.  Topics covered include:

Scouting during the First World War - Resource Pack

For larger scale photographs and ideas of how to use the topic and collection for learning and engagement activities a supporting downloadable resource pack has been created.  Photographs may be reproduced for not-for-profit learning activities, please credit (C) The Scout Association Heritage Collection.

We have a small range of downloadable activity resources to support activities around Scouting in the First World War.
